Last night I launched a co-edited volume of 75 voices celebrating the 20th anniversary of Women’s Words. My daughter was in the audience. I thought of this moment not long ago when she was too shy to stay in the audience and came up to the front to stand with me while I read my essay about mothering my lovely child. Such beautiful memories. Such a wonderful experience mothering this girl through these years….
